This is a great recipe for those who actually don't care much for cabbage. When cooked and seasoned properly the flavor of cabbage tends to disappear. Pairing this with asparagus and sweet & sour sauce is wonderfully tasty! As you can see I love to serve this with a filet of baked or grilled Tilapia :)
Sweet & Sour Cabbage Asparagus Stir Fry
olive oil spray
1/4 head of red cabbage, chopped
15 spears of asparagus, ends trimmed & cut into thirds
salt & pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 Tblsp sweet & sour sauce
In a skillet on medium-high heat, mist with olive oil and add minced garlic and cabbage. Saute until cabbage is slightly tender. Add asparagus, salt, pepper and garlic. Continue to saute until cabbage and asparagus are tender. Add the sweet and sour sauce, stirring until well combined. Serve immediately.
